Fabrication Shop

Summa Mechanical's corporate office sits on 1.6 acres just west of downtown Phoenix and operates a 10,000 square foot fabrication shop.  In this facility, we fabricate many different items, including steel columns, piping headers, pipe supports, structural supports, skids, structural steel, and gravity filter troughs.

By prefabricating materials in our shop, we are able to keep costs down and schedules intact.  

Our skilled employees are certified to perform the following types of processes:

• SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)

• GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)

• GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)

• Brazing

• Soldering

• Plastic Fusion

We own the necessary equipment for our shop crew to perform these tasks and deliver fabricated material to the field for our field crew to install, including:

• Electric Welding Machines

• Gas Welding Machines

• Stakebed Truck

• Forklifts

• Boom Truck

This means faster response and support for our projects, in addition to lower cost for our clients.
