Central Chilled Water Plants
Central Boiler Plants

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
Pipe Fabrication
Plumbing
Site Utilities

We have served as a Prime Contractor on hundreds of projects in Arizona, providing both mechanical construction and supervision to our clients. Awarding a project to a mechanical contractor performing as a prime contractor, rather than a general contractor who then subcontracts for each trade, allows for many benefits including the avoidance of double markups, supervision, and general conditions charges. Communication flows much more smoothly and questions are able to be answered faster, maintaining a tighter schedule on the project.
We are very proud to be on several job order contracts throughout the State of Arizona. Summa was selected based on qualifications and price for all clients listed below:
State of Arizona, Gordian Group
Northern Arizona University (S.A.V.E.)
City of Phoenix
We have completed many projects as CMAR, from chiller replacements for Central Arizona project to boiler plant renovations at Northern Arizona University. We work closely with our owners, design professionals, and subcontractors to ensure a project that exceeds the expectations of all parties involved.
As CMAR, Summa Mechanical Contractors, Inc. self-performs the mechanical scope of the project, helping our clients avoid doubled costs, including markups, supervision, and general conditions. This gives the project team much tighter control of both scheduling and budgets. In nearly all of our CMAR projects we have been able to redirect contract savings to increased scope or return excess funds to the owner.
